Welcome to the Nightmare Castle. Err... You know what I mean.

Hi there! I am an artist from Southwest Iowa, taking commissions for anime, original characters, yaoi, yuri, furry, almost anything you can some up with. The only catch? I have to be able to willingly post it on my deviantART page with only a mature warning.

Commissions:: Pricing, Suggestions, and Limitations

Pricing:

Pencil Sketch- $3
A simple sketch with one or two characters, maybe with a simple background. $2 for any character over two.

Color Sketch- $4-$5
A sketch with color applied. Not terribly detailed, and again, $2 for every extra character above three.

Graphite Detailed Piece- $10-$30 A detailed piece in graphite. $3 for every character above two. Backgrounds are another $1.50.

Ink Detailed Piece- $12-$35
A detailed piece in ink. $3 for every character above two. Backgrounds, depending on complexity, can range from $1.50 to $3. I may use some colored pencils on the piece--this doesn't make it a colored piece.

Colored Detailed Piece- $12-$35 A detailed piece with a large amount of color. $4 for every extra character. Marker, colored pencil, watercolor pencils--you can choose or I can choose for you.

Email me for a specific quote or leave a comment. I accept Paypal or money orders, unless I know you personally, then I will accept other payment methods.

Suggestions:

--Have an idea of what you want. If you have this crazy far-out, totally weird idea that you want done, tell me. I'll tell you if I can or cannot do it.

--Have patience. I am human, sometimes I just get swamped with life. I'm currently unemployed, but that may change.

--Pictures. Pictures are fabulous references. If you want a furry character and it's an animal that is not widely recognized, send me a picture. If what you want is armor, get me a picture of similar armor. If you want a georgeous semi-nude character, get me a picture of a similar-looking character, or at least one in the pose you want. I love references. If you just want me to freelance it, give me a description and I'll do my best.

--Be kind. If when I'm sketching it, you find you're not really liking how the face looks or you're just not crazy about the pose, let me know and I'll find something else. I'll keep the first one, maybe finish it for myself and post it, but I won't charge you for it, until the fourth re-draw, then it's $5 each time. Remember, if you're specific the first time around, I can help you.

--Remember the SAD--Starving Artist Discount!!! Provide proof of artistry and recieve a discount! --Always count on shipping. Unless you tell me otherwise, there will be shipping.

--I welcome original characters, fan characters, and everything in between. --I also do movie-characters. Like Jareth. I love to draw Jareth from the Labyrinth. And the Phantom of the Opera. If there's a movie and you want a commission, let me know!

Limitations:

Currently, anything is available for sale except for "Mistress", "I'm Not Listening", and any pieces I may state as "sold". Prices range from $5 to $25, with $3 to $5 for shipping. Everything (commissions and art pieces) ship in card-board reinforced packages.

Since I went to ACen, I sold Boy or Girl version 2.0, MT Kitty, and These Ribbons! At Anime Nebraskon I sold the original Smexy Kitty. These are not currently available, but if you note me with a request for one of them, I will be more than happy to remake them.

The piece "Chibi Boi-Love" is available only as the original. "Mistress", "Moonlight and Watercolor", "I'm not listening", "Something Imagined", and other similar large pieces can be redone, but only upon immediate full payment for it, as I do not exactly have the time to redo it and gain nothing from it. "Chibi Boi Love 2" is available, however, as an original.

I have two frames available! One is a rectangular frame in a nice beige color, the other is a crimson fuzzy red frame. These are for sale for an additional $2.00, but I will only give the fuzzy red one for certain sized pieces, since it's a large oval inside the frame. If you're interested, let me know.

If you have original characters, and you see something of mine that you'd like something similarly done, please feel free to ask! I'm willing to try anything twice, like I tell people the first time can go either way.

If something happens to the commission in transit or before I can get it to the post office, I will redo it, fix it, whatever I have to do, free of charge to you!!!

I work with watercolor and watercolor pencils, as well as some not permanant inks, so I know what happens when I'm outside drawing and it starts raining. Also, I use prismacolors, Copics, and Sakura Micron pens. Paper ranges in size from 8.5X11 to any custom size that you want (if it's too large, I may have to request you purchase the paper and send it to me in a tube so that when I send it back, I have something secure to put it in). I also use colored pencils and do pencil sketches.

If you're requesting full-on sex, I am willing to do that! ^^

Skintones, Evil Bunnies, and Pinup drawings...

Yeaaaaa...

Okay, I need commissions. Still. Because the fleshtone marker (don't laugh, I didn't have much moneys, so I only bought one...) that I use for like... almost every piece... DIED. I can use a peach colored pencil, and it looks okay... but I like to use my copics... SO! I need commissions where the customer pays at least half now before I get started! So I can get those copics that I need (Yes, I will be purchasing more than one this time...). So there will be a COMMISSION SALE!!! *throws confetti* Yes, that's right, I'm going even cheaper than my cheap-self normally goes--because I need the money!!!!!!!!!!

*wails* Please?

Prices for the COMMISSION SALE!!!:

Pencil Sketch - $4.00
Color Sketch - $6.00
Pencil Detail Piece - $10.00 to $20.00
Ink Detail Piece - $11.00 to $25.00
Color Detail Piece - $11.00 to $30.00

Backgrounds - $1.00 to $2.00 Extra
3+ Characters - $1.50 (Per Character over 2)

Pinups? Evil Bunnies? Oh, yes, we have those!!! I did one of Cornelius as a Smexy Evil Bunny, currently for sale for $8.00, wit $2.00 shipping. *does dance* If you want it redrawn with displayed naughty bits, it's another $2.00.

Sick... but still drawing!!!

Okay, I've been sick for a while... just off and on, sometimes a fever, sometimes lightheadedness... Just general not feeling well stuff... But I'm still working my tail off, had to restart on one of the hotrods for Summer (SORRY SUMMER!!!!) because my puppy threw up on it, and I didn't think it would be very nice of me... Also, made a character to add conflict to the sotryline for the comic book I'm making, I'll be working back and forth between that and Summer and Buni and and and... Okay, not a whole lot to do... I intend to go to Nebraskon, I'll have a table, some sketches, maybe prints, and hopefully some buttons! There will be yaoi stuff, some yuri, some individual characters... Also, lots of commissions! I will take lots of paper, lots of my art stuff, and hopefully have some sort of list thingy so you can write down your name, details, and such, so I'm not forgetting any bits, like if you want inked, I don't want to stop at pencil... Also, if you have any desire to request something ahead of time and want to pick it up when you get there, let me know, and I'll have it done for you!

This is the bad bunny, I'm hoping to have some prints and full-stuff done of him in time for Nebraskon, so cross your fingers, I might post a sneak peek on here! I grabbed a colored pencil last night (Crayola (c) Mahongany), and started to doodle. He's going to lose the vest though... I don't like it.... and yes, those are rabbit ears with tufts on the end. The tufts will be red, the ears, and hair black, with pale skin and red eyes. This will make him more evil, I hope... Anyways, his name is Cornelius Damon, because I liked Cornelius, and Vivienne (a rp buddeh of mine) liked Damon, so he is Cornelius Damon.

This is the concept drawing I did of Buni, who is the good bunny-boy in the storyline. Yes, he's just wearing a thong. Why? Because he needed to be wearing something. Took the pose from my albino kitty boi, and made him a bunny for a commission, which then became a character, which then grew into a storyline... Anyways, this concept drawing is for sale. If I still have it, I'll take it with me to Nebraskon.
Plenty for me to be busy with!!! But I can always use more--help support the Starving Artists!!!

The Roleplay Addict

Shut up, I like to roleplay. Anyways, I've found some nice places to rp, one of which I'm an assistant-admin on, and we have two registered members--me and the head-admin. So we're in need of people to just come and roleplay. As well as graphic desginers. Mostly just people to come and roleplay.

Roleplayers Anonymous
(Calling All Creators Roleplay)

This next one, I just like roleplaying here. My idea shot off like a rocket and is progressing rather nicely. The people are kind, very helpful... An overall good place. I'm HalloweenNumber1 here.

Roleplayer Guild
(Calling All Creators Roleplay)

This one I'm not as fond of, as I don't get notification fast like at the Guild, but it's still a good one to go check out.

Roleplay Gateway
(Calling All Creators Roleplay)

And yes, I took the same idea to three different places to see what kind of responses I would get.

Kitty Boi

Took a doodle I did of my character Vaughn and made him into an albino-ish kitty. My scanner made his skin yellow, though, and I couldn't darken it or mess with the contrast, or the rest would come out too dark... Again, another piece for sale. I'll probably do a few more with different cat colorings. Watermark done in The Gimp.

This last one was a project, where I took different pictures of the kitty boy and put them together as a sort of collage. Put on a background, and voila!

Boy-Love

Had someone ask about the Chibi Boi-Love 1 and 2, so I figured I'd post small preview images and links to them.

The first is Chibi Boi-Love that I did for a friend, who actually owns the red and black-haired character. The one gnawing on his ear is my character. They were together, not now... sad how these things are brief even in stories...

The second is Chibi Boi-Love 2 which is the same characters, different pose.

Anime Central (ACen, 2008)

I went to ACen this year (hooray for me), and I met a lot of awesome artists and cosplayers and people. I sold three pieces of art that I had finished and took to ACen with me. At the right here, you can see one of them. It's Vaughn and Cassandra, entitled "These Ribbons Tie You to Me", took approximately 10-12 hours to complete, and it sold for $30 at ACen, purchased by Rob, from the UK who was staying in the same hotel room. He paid me $30 for it, when I only asked $25. He said it was because I was undercharging everything and was selling myself short. I know that I was, I know that I did, during the whole con, because the stuff I brought was all original characters that no one knew.

I also sold the original of the one now at the right, to another artist there at Artist Alley, named Chad Carlson, who had originally come over to give me a drawing of me that I had commissioned him for. Since the character I was cosplaying is obviously so obscure, and I didn't think to bring my Godchild manga, I just had him draw me in my brocade dress. Anyway, he was in Artist Alley at ACen, on the other end, almost straight across from where I was sitting, and he came over to give me the drawing and asked me how it was going. Friday was super-slow, I had had one portrait-commission earlier that day and that was it. This was because the printers had apparently exploded (possibly literally) and so it was painstakingly difficult to get through Registration and Pre-Registration. So thankfully the flow of people was slow the first day and I wasn't swamped. But I also wasn't making much money. But anyways, he pointed to this one and said "How much for it?" I thought about it, knowing that today had been slow for everyone, and knowing that all artists are really starving that first day, I said "For you, $10. You get the starving artist discount." Thus beginning the use of the "Starving Artist Discount". I'll explain that in a moment. I did another one of this, using some new copic markers on smaller paper, and sold it for $8.

This piece was entitled "Kitty Hat", done in watercolor, ink, and lots and lots of marker. It was a lot of fun to do, as the architecture of it was inspired by a place where I once lived. Anyways, it was purchased by Nathan, who became good friends with me at ACen, commissioning a piece of two original characters, one was his and one was his friend's, who he roleplays with. He told me about the story and who and what the characters were. I was proud of that commission when I was finished. I might redo it and resend it to him, just for the heck of it. He looked at another drawing I had done right there at the table and said "How much for you to take this drawing and turn it into a comic book?" I blinked at him a little bit and chuckled, thinking about it for a bit before I said "$40." He smiled and said "Deal. On one condition--you have to give it to me at next year's ACen. If it's not finished, you will owe me one free commission." I accepted the deal, with only one question. "What if I can't make it next year?" His expression told me that he hadn't thought about that. He said "Well, you have my email, so we'll keep in touch and see what happens between now and then."

This is the drawing that Nathan looked at and asked me to make a comic of. It's one of my androgynousy boys, who is kinda curtsying femininely, wearing a shirt that said "I am a BOY". The text ont he side says "I amuse myself at your expense." I liked this drawing, because it was just fun to do. Dorian, that's the character's name, is a cat-boy, for about two weeks after his birthday, which means he has a cat's tail and ears for a short time. I did another one, and it didn't occur to me to take a picture until after I'd long sold it. It was also of Dorian, but he was holding his tail looking up with a speech bubble that said "But I'm not cosplaying..." and I scrawled at the bottom "The Problem with being a REAL Cat-boy." I just thought it was cute.
